Greetings from the foothills of the (somewhat) cold Rocky Mountains! I am sure you imagine us huddled in the middle of a forest, stuck in a snow drift in our long johns, but truth be told, we are in a drought. We've hardly had any snow and have had several fire warnings this winter. Believe it or not, we all wish for huge snow storms so we can go Yeti hunting and have water in our wells again. I think it's time to sacrifice a pair of flip-flops to the Great God of the Wendigo so it brings some snow when it comes to vanquish our enemies. I'll be safe; I don't eat humans. Yeah...that's the ticket. A Wendigo.
Anyways, where was I going with this? Oh yes, ART! If you are in the Los Angeles area this month (where it is very warm and not Yeti friendly), please stop by the Hive Gallery downtown to see the Stitch Fetish 6 show! (More info at http://hivegallery.com/exhibitions/february-2018-stitch-fetish-6/ ) I am honored to have one of my works of art featured in this show among many talented artists. If you are able, stop in and see some fantastic art! And if you feel moved, you can also purchase many of these works of art too. The show runs February 3-25, 2018. It's so awesome to be a part of this and I hope to have future works show in more galleries.
Well, off to find some flip-flops for the altar! Have a fantastic weekend!
